What it is
Torriden’s DIVE-IN line is built around hyaluronic acid, and this is its daily sunscreen. Olive Young sells it as a 60ml twin pack, two tubes for one price. It’s registered in Korea as a functional cosmetic for UV protection.
The Korean ingredient list puts water, isononyl isononanoate (a light emollient) and propanediol first, then five UV filters: butyloctyl salicylate, ethylhexyl triazone (Uvinul T 150), diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate (Uvinul A Plus), drometrizole trisiloxane and methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol (Tinosorb M). It also lists niacinamide, panthenol at 5,025 ppm, about ten forms of hyaluronic acid, allantoin and ceramide NP. No fragrance is listed.
Who it suits (and who should skip it)
Good pick if
- Your skin is normal, dry or dehydrated and you like a moist finish
- You want a fragrance-free daily sunscreen with no white cast
- You’d like two tubes to share or to keep one at work
Skip it if
- Your skin is very oily and you want a matte finish
- You need a water-resistant sunscreen for swimming or sport
- You prefer mineral-only filters
What the ingredients do
The five filters cover both UVB and UVA. Uvinul A Plus is a strong UVA filter, ethylhexyl triazone and butyloctyl salicylate cover UVB, and Tinosorb M and drometrizole trisiloxane help across both. Several of these aren’t approved for US sunscreens. Our Korean sunscreen buying guide covers what to check on the label.
The skincare side is hydration. The hyaluronic acid forms and glycerin hold water, panthenol soothes, and niacinamide supports tone. That’s why it can replace a light morning moisturiser for some skin types.
How to use it
Torriden’s directions: as the last skincare step, spread it evenly over the areas you need to protect. Use enough to cover your face and neck well, about two finger-lengths, and reapply when you’re outdoors for long periods.
How it compares
Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun and Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream use a similar set of modern filters with a dewy finish. SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum is lighter and more serum-like. Choose by texture and which pack size suits you.
Is it worth buying in Seoul?
Yes, as a set. Two 60ml tubes for one price is good value, and the set clears the ₩15,000 tax refund minimum. We don’t show an Amazon US price because the listing we found didn’t match this pack.
Each tube is 60ml, so both fit in a carry-on liquids bag.
FAQ
Does it leave a white cast?
There's no zinc oxide or titanium dioxide on the Korean list. Tinosorb M scatters some light, but in a clear formula like this it doesn't usually show as a cast.
Is it water-resistant?
The Korean label we checked doesn't make a water-resistance claim, so reapply after swimming or sweating.
Why is there no US price?
The US listing we found was a different pack and possibly a different version, so it wasn't a fair comparison.
