About Seoul Price Check

Seoul Price Check answers one question travellers keep asking: is this actually cheaper in Seoul? Blog posts and forum threads usually say "yes, much cheaper", but the honest answer depends on the product, the size, the sale that month and where you live.

So we check, product by product. For each product we record the Seoul shelf price, the price on Amazon US and Amazon UK, and turn them into a real cost: US sales tax added, UK VAT already included, and the Korean tourist tax refund taken off. Every page shows the date we checked.

Independent

We are not affiliated with Olive Young, Amazon or any brand. No brand pays to be listed or to change a verdict. When a product is cheaper at home, we say so.

How the site is paid for

Some links to online shops are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Travel links (hotels, eSIMs, experiences) work the same way. Read the affiliate disclosure.
